Just got back from the beach in Portugal. How gorgeous. Glad to back in Spain so I can now actually communicate with people. (although the portuguese did speak bits of English.) Had the best Indian food on the face of the planet for lunch. (who woulda thought Indian food in Portugal? Not I.)

I have a new roommate. Some girl named Mary from France. She seems cool...I think she´s got about 5 yrs on Daniella and I though. 5 people to 1 bathroom. Small apartment. Kinda wondering how this is all gonna work out!

I have a ferocious tan. My freckles on my nose are coming out and I love it! I love freckles..they´re cute. My hair is also gettin pretty dang blonde. Kinda scaring me...

I´m getting really excited for college and meeting more kids like the ones I´ve met hear. I´m glad there are liberal/open-minded people outside of the bible belt. Girls from CA have decided I should live in CA with them because apparently I´d make a good "surfer girl". Might make a road trip to visit them later on in the year. Or to Chile to see Bridget when she moves there this fall. (the little hippie. makes my day.)

Ya. I´m out. 2 fantastic, glorious weeks left. Next summer I am so backpacking Europe. It is happening...just cuz I´m already committed and can´t take a year off from college like I really want to do.
